Ageless. Born in 1912, I remember when the first car rolled into our town, black and boxy. We didn’t even have refrigerators, back then they were called “safes”. The legs were kept in small tins filled with water to keep out the ants. We graduated to an “ice box” before getting to the “fridge”. Far from microwaves and espresso pods. My first TV, seeing the rocket on that black & white thing was wild. I remember learning to playing pong on that same TV. That’s what led me to the Vic 20 and the Commodore 64. I’ve actually never owned a PC.
My family was taken from me when I was young but they are golden. I spent the most time with my grandmother. She was born in 1602. When she read me bible stories she always focused on Egypt. Her stories had so much detail that I could see the rooms, landscape, dress, food, furniture all in my minds eye. There was a consistent smell I can’t describe. Near the end of her time, reading wasn’t outlawed so much as writing. Writing was the high crime that for a about century could get family killed but that was all before I was born.
This is the best time be be alive! I’ve seen the invention of pretty much everything and have had enough time to track the programmed nature of our science, education, social treads and values. A macro view lends a clearer perspective of altered history. Luckily, this convulsion is far more recent than proclaimed by backdating. Aside from remembering events there is also remember infancy. I don’t think most people realize how cognizant babies are. We are born with an innate awareness of what feels aligned with spirit or not. Pretty simple. This simple common understanding is meant to be fostered and rooted between the ages two and three. I firmly believe that if most people could remember infancy, then most questions we have would not be questions at all. In short… If you are asking a question, you likely are just trying to remember the answer. Then there is genetic memory, which is much stronger than most realize. Though overlooked and discounted by those without ready access, genetic memory is undeniably the root of our common story. Let me be a guide.
I see things, dream things, investigate and create things from an unconventional perspective. This post ignites a collection of thoughts, theories and discoveries collected over the years. It feels timely. Recent globalization has surely tempted the hand of centralization but not before opening up the gift of global communication. Things that have been in the back of my brain for decades, seemingly lone observations, are now being reference in our communal dialogue. It is time. There is currently so much noise, confusion and division being blasted out that ironically, it finally feels safe for me to speak my truth with a joy of peace.
So much noise that a “beacon with a pulse” is the only vibration built to cut the bluster and find the harmony of music. Waken to the journey of rediscovering our collective spirit.
